R/GA is looking for a Visual Designer with the primary focus being presentation design. Our Presentation Designers distill complex information into simple narratives and create beautiful layouts. They work with designers, strategists and new business teams to craft stories and bring presentations to life. Design is fundamental to R/GA and presentation designers are integral to our agency and practice.
There is an opportunity to define and influence the presentation output for R/GA as part of the 20+ strong Visual Design department, reporting to the Head of Visual Design.
Here’s what you should know if you want to be a Presentation Designer at R/GA.
/ Understand Visual Design as a discipline and a practice
/ Ensure our work is on brand and communicates clearly
/ Design and execute best in class presentations and layouts in alignment with client and agency standards
/ Be able to explain and articulate design decisions and rationale
/ Work with a team to concept, create and execute presentations and layouts within given deadlines
/ Have a keen eye for detail and consistency that extends to language and proof reading
/ Understand and be able to extend the visual language of a project, taking into consideration the aesthetic, behavior and interactions
Together we will
/ Define and create consistency across the presentation output for R/GA London
/ Collate and advocate presentation tools, techniques and methodologies across the agency
/ Collaborate on projects, pitches and presentations that generate new revenue streams and business opportunities
/ 2+ years agency or similar experience
/ Solid foundation in design fundamentals, layout, color theory, grids and typography
/ Excellent attention to detail with the ability to expand existing visual languages and guidelines
/ Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign (After Effects and motion design skills are a bonus)
/ Excellent knowledge of Keynote, GoogleSlides & Powerpoint with ability to animate within these applications
/ Good knowledge of working with OSX
/ Good verbal, written and communication skills
/ Able to effectively collaborate with multiple disciplines and balance different work streams under pressure
/ A self-starter who is able to work independently and as part of a team
/ An interest in information design, strategy and emerging design trends
/ Strong portfolio demonstrating your approach, process and Presentation Design skill
We are not looking for Powerpoint operators or artworkers. We are looking for designers with taste and craft, that understand a presentation needs to be as beautiful and thought out as the content within.
