Freelance Awards Associate

R/GA is one of the most awarded and recognized agencies in the industry and much of it is the result of the Award Coordinator’s diligence, dedication, and ability to execute and improve our Awards Program. We are looking for an organized and strategic thinker who has the drive and ability to maximize our work’s potential and support our Award Coordinator during the most demanding season. 

Here’s what you should know if you want to be a Freelance Awards Associate at R/GA:

On any given day you might

  • Update awards-related spreadsheets and calendar
  • Gather assets from project teams
  • Create landing pages for award submissions
  • Assist in vetting category recommendations from creative project leads and selecting award show categories
  • Maintain Awards Server as a central hub of information and assets across R/GA network
  • Assist in entering submission information into show portals, including written materials, images, videos, and credits
  • Communicate all show follow-up tasks per show (announcements, credit confirmation, ceremony attendance, trophy tracking, etc)
  • Assist with making timely updates with recent award wins

The ideal person

  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Efficient and independent 
  • Google Docs/Excel proficient
  • Adobe Photoshop Novice 
  • Using custom CMS 
  • Clear communicator via email/phone

You bring

  • Strong work ethic
  • Basic understanding of HTML/WordPress 
  • Interest and knowledge of Ad industry
