Manager Channel Strategy

The traditional approach doesn’t cut it for our Media team.  Instead of focusing on creating media plans, they build media systems. They determine the best mix of channels to go to market, combining cultural insights and algorithms to build strategies and manage media programs. Data is the driver. Delivering creativity is the goal.

Here’s what you should know if you want to be an Manager Channel Strategy at R/GA:

On any given day you might 

  • Manage all aspects of daily campaigns including adjusting cost bids, budgets, pacing & delivery, ad copy testing, and content publication
  • Be responsible for campaign implementation, optimization and reporting across paid media channels
  • Generate consistently accurate, useful reports as well as an enthusiasm for translating data into actionable insight relevant to sales and operational objectives
  • Power the team with data to continuously optimize campaigns and boost results
  • Understand business goals and work collaboratively to achieve results
  • Manage multiple projects, drive hard to completion, and deliver effective results
  • Monitor industry changes and translate those into actionable recommendations

The ideal person

  • Is able to execute on, manage, and mentor across third party campaign management platforms such as Marin, Kenshoo, 4C, Localytics, Dart, Facebook, Criteo, Tubemogul, The Trade Desk, etc…
  • Has experience in proven optimization techniques and bid management skills in one or more of the following channels PPC, Display or Paid Social
  • Has strong analytical skills and understanding of KPI's for online/digital media
  • Has advanced computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Can Identify root cause of changes in performance and formulate concrete solutions
  • Understands the value and challenges of working in what feels like a start-up environment passionate, entrepreneurial self-starter
  • Has Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

You bring

  •  3+   Experience in proven optimization techniques and bid management skills in one or more of the following channels PPC, Display or Paid Social
  • Strong experience in Analytics tools and media metrics
  • Fluent/Native English
