Bid Analyst

The traditional approach doesn’t cut it for our Media team.  Instead of focusing on creating media plans, they build media systems. They determine the best mix of channels to go to market, combining cultural insights and algorithms to build strategies and manage media programs. Data is the driver. Delivering creativity is the goal.

Here’s what you should know if you want to be a Media Bid Analyst at R/GA:

On any given day you might

  • Assist with developing strategies for all media buys
  • Track, compile, and analyze data for negotiating and client reporting
  • Monitor campaigns for any potential red-flag issues or areas of optimization
  • Manage campaign budgets and pacing
  • Interact with 3rd party ad servers to issue trafficking requirements
  • Review contracts and prepare, manage and issue insertion orders

The ideal person

  • Is familiar with media basics such as CPM, CPL, and paid search
  • Pays extra attention to the details
  • Is proficient in basic office applications including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Has exceptional written and oral presentation skills
  • Has experience working with platforms such as Kenshoo, Doubleclick Bid Manager, comScore AdEffx, and MediaOcean

You bring

  • 1+ years’ online media experience
