Account Supervisor

Client Services is a team of versatile marketers charged with driving growth and retention of our clients and R/GA’s business. We represent the day-to-day strategic business partners and advisors to our clients and serve as the catalyst for innovative work across all departments and capabilities inside R/GA.    

At R/GA, the Client Services team sits at the heart of all the work we do for our clients, who look to us to lead our integrated agency team as an extension of their client teams. We are not just “account people.” Our people are expected to think, behave and function like CMOs, regardless of their title or level.  That requires becoming intimate with all aspects of the client’s business, beyond just the work they hire us to do for them day-to-day. We are T-shaped entrepreneurs who treat our client’s business like it’s our own. We represent the client’s voice inside the agency (when our clients are at their best), while keeping an objective perspective on what’s right for the client’s business and what will exceed their goals. We’re equal parts business partner, strategic marketer, connector, entrepreneur and trusted advisor. 

On any given day you might

  • Supervise the implementation of tactical marketing plans to achieve Client’s marketing communications strategies and business objectives
  • Act as a primary contact for the appropriate junior or middle-management client level (typically Marketing Managers and Directors)
  • Manage Client Services departmental work designed to drive account growth, diversification and profitability
  • Support mid-level and senior Client Services AD’s and GAD’s by contributing to the strategic output on his/her designated accounts.
  • Help to contribute to the quality and substance of the design and delivery of strategic and/or creative work materials to clients, including strategic presentation materials.
  • Assist senior Client Services  leads in the identification of new marketing opportunities
  • Work in close partnership with Production department to oversee daily client status, project execution and administration of all defined creative deliverables
  • Supervise communication and reporting of the team’s day-to-day activities
  • Participate in the development and agreement of measurement plans
  • Drive the training and mentoring of Account Managers and Coordinators

The ideal person    

  • Demonstrates a basic understanding of and a thoughtful POV on the basic principles of marketing, advertising and media
  • Exhibits passion and curiosity for digital marketing and emerging trends in social, mobile, product and service innovation
  • Experience in directing and multi-tasking in fast-paced creative environment
  • Demonstrates an understanding of, and appreciation for, the use of data and analytics to solve fundamental business and marketing problems.
  • Is proficient in the fundamental MS Office software

You bring

  • 4-6 years of experience in an account management or integrated marketing role or digitally led marketing capacity.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
